Christmas in Ohio

We made it to Ohio safe and sound on the 26th.  My sister, brother-in-law and two nieces pulled in about an hour after we did.  That crazy Santa Claus left stockings for all the kids at my parents house too.  They got to open their stockings the first night we were there.  DSC_5128DSC_5129Santa left my sister and I pretty cool stocking gifts!! iPads!!DSC_5133DSC_5134The cousins had fun playing and going to bed late and getting up on the 27th to open presents with my parents.DSC_5147DSC_5151DSC_5154DSC_5157A perfect shirt for Lindy – Love to be WildDSC_5159DSC_5183DSC_5208Sweet KateDSC_5213DSC_5224We let the kids open all their gifts and then the ‘big’ kids got to open gifts  We had a lazy afternoon getting ready and late naps for the kids.  IMG_5429Drew got a Kindle and loves it.  Between his books and this he’ll never talk to me again!DSC_5233IMG_5434DSC_5220DSC_5236IMG_5438We ended the evening with an awesome prime rib dinner.  My dad went a little overboard with the prime rib this year – he got a HUGE one.  DSC_5246It took a hacksaw to cut it in half.  But man-oh-man did it taste good!  DSC_5250It wouldn’t be Christmas dinner without Penny’s Rolls.  These are the rolls my grandmother used to make and now my mom makes.  They are so good.  The funny thing is that no one knows who Penny is!DSC_5252IMG_5456
