We will finish up with Christmas in this post. We left our house on Christmas Day and got to my parents’ around 4pm. They were happy to see some family. We had a nice evening, put the kids to bed and watched a movie.
The only bummer was Lindy’s cold got worse and she did puke in her bed that night. Thankfully I had put a bucket in bed just in case, and she got most of it in the bucket, but that required a clothing and sheets change. We tried to put her back down but she threw up some more mucus so she ended up in our bed for the evening. I got her inhaler treatments going and thankfully her cough went away after a couple days.
Friday Mom and I went to Target and Wal-Mart to look for bargains. We wasted the day away until my sister and family finally got in around 6pm. We ate a quick dinner and got to the presents! We let the kids go and then the adults got to open presents in peace (kind of).
After Friday night, the presents were over!
