Box Head Children

Before I get into the potty update, I have to back up to Mother’s Day.  I had a nice lunch out with the family at Chili’s.  The kids took a good long nap, which is a little present within itself!

Friday night we went to the Relay for Life.  The kids always love being outside.  Will was really into watching the Nifty Fifty dancers.  He kept taking my finger and pulling me back over to watch them dance.  We stopped for milk shakes on the way home and the kids loved them.  Lindy was seriously loving it.  She kept pulling my arm back for more.

Yesterday was a mama’s day away for me and my friend Katie.  We left the hubbies and kids at home and we took on IKEA!  We had a blast!  I’m embarrassed to admit how long we spent there.  Let’s say we did eat two meals though!  DSCN1292 DSCN1293

Some more pictures of the week.  DSC_0215 DSC_0216DSC_0248 I taught the kids how to jump like a frog this week.  Lindy has her own personal spin on the frog jump though.  She crouches down and then kind of walks on her hands and toes.DSC_0225 DSC_0231 And finally today’s cute seersucker church outfits.DSC_0260 DSC_0263 DSC_0268

Oh, I love IKEA, I haven't been in ages but totally understand how you could get lost there for hours!
That stinks about the potty training, I had heard about the 3 day method too and was hoping to try it soon. Best of luck to both of us, sound like we both need it!
