She lost her Dad on September 11th when she was only 2 years old.<br /><br />I went with my friend last Friday, 9/11 to Columbia Presbyterian in NYC to begin the OVERWHELMING journey that is Type 1 diabetes. There were MANY tears last Friday for MANY reasons as you can imagine. Exactly the same things as your sweet niece is experiencing - not one morsel of food can enter her mouth without her mom knowing about it.
